At Hacienda Hostería San Luis, we want you to feel at home. Located in the fertile valley of Mt. Cayambe, one hour north of Quito the Ecuadorean capital, Hacienda Hostería San Luis is a working ranch dedicated to dairy farming, agriculture and raising fighting bulls. The hacienda boasts 36 cabañas tastefully decorated with exposed beams and fireplaces in each room. The cabañas are spread out over acres of manicured gardens and paths. There is a full restaurant, complete bar, game room and a spa with pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Various types of massages are offered for our guests.

The  hacienda once belonged to General Duran Arcentales who was the leader of Ecuador in the mid 1970’s. In 1986, the hacienda, along with its collection of prized fighting bulls, was purchased by Dr. Luis Yerovi de la Calle, an eminent OB/GYN physician practicing in the USA. Dr. Yerovi grew up in his parents hacienda in Mocha, Ecuador and bought the hacienda as a way to get back to his roots. Upon observing how magical the property was he decided with his family to share it with the world by opening up a guest resort on the property. And that is how Hacienda Hostería San Luis began. The doors to the resort opened in 1996. We, as the patriarch of our family insisted, want you to feel at home in our hacienda as you enjoy adventures or simply unwind.
